On-demand home services marketplace
Genie is a two-sided marketplace that connects homeowners with verified professionals for salon, spa, appliance repair, cleaning, and pest-control services - booked online, tracked in real time, and paid for securely.
We built Genie end-to-end: a customer-facing booking experience, a provider dashboard, an admin control panel, and the infrastructure holding it all together. The brief was simple to say and hard to do - make booking a home service feel as easy as ordering food.
The Challenge
Home services in most cities still run on phone calls, word of mouth, and hoping the person who shows up is actually qualified. There was no single layer that could verify providers, show availability, handle payment, give both sides job visibility, and scale across categories.
Genie needed to solve trust, logistics, and payments in one product, without feeling like three separate apps stitched together.
